🍌Let's Get Bananas!🍌
Get ready, Charlotte - the Savannah Bananas - the theatrical, unconventional baseball team known for combining athleticism, dance, comedy, and fan interaction into a show called Banana Ball - are coming to town!
They’ll be taking over Truist Field from June 4-6, 2026 for what’s sure to be three nights of wacky, fun-filled action on the diamond.
To snag tickets, you’ll need to sign up for the Banana Ball ticket lottery by October 31. If your name is drawn, you’ll get a chance to purchase tickets (starting around $35) through the team’s ticketing system.

📉 Mortgage Rates Continue a Gentle Decline
Good news for buyers - rates edged down again this week, continuing their gradual slide through October. The 30-year fixed dipped slightly to 6.22%, while the 15-year fixed and jumbo loans also saw modest decreases. Government-backed options like FHA and VA loans followed suit, both now under 6%.
The 7/6 SOFR ARM held steady at 5.70%, remaining one of the lowest-rate options for borrowers seeking short- to mid-term flexibility. Overall, this slow and steady decline is helping improve affordability just as fall home shopping gains momentum.
