🌟Five To Try in the Greater Charlotte Area🌟

🍁 Touchdowns, Treats, & Timeless Traditions 🏈🎃

Fall in Charlotte is officially here - and with it comes cooler nights, crisp mornings, and a calendar packed with can’t-miss events. From Panthers football to pumpkin patches, Oktoberfest steins to spooky thrills, there’s no shortage of ways to celebrate the season.

This week’s Five to Try is full of fall flavor, family fun, and hometown traditions that make Charlotte such a great place to call home. 💛

And as always, THANK YOU for the support, referrals, and love. Your trust keeps my business growing through relationships, and I’m forever grateful!

Let’s dive in!

1️⃣ Carolina Panthers Fall Home Games 🏈🐾

The roar of football season is back at Bank of America Stadium! Catch the Panthers in action this fall with three big home games:

  • Sept. 21 vs. Atlanta Falcons

  • Oct. 12 vs. Dallas Cowboys

  • Oct. 26 vs. Buffalo Bills

Get your tickets early and join the sea of blue and black in Uptown!

2️⃣ Oktoberfest & SCarowinds at Carowinds 🍺🎃

Carowinds is bringing double the fun this fall. Celebrate Bavarian traditions with bratwursts, pretzels, and seasonal brews during Oktoberfest, then stick around after dark for SCarowinds, where haunted mazes, scare zones, and thrilling rides set the stage for spine-chilling fun.

📍 Carowinds

3️⃣ North End Farmers Market 🍎🌻

Fall harvest season makes the North End Farmers Market extra sweet! Stop by Camp North End every Wednesday for fresh produce, baked goods, flowers, and artisan finds while supporting local farmers and makers.

🗓️ Wednesdays through Oct. 29 | 4-8 PM

📍 Camp North End

4️⃣ Festival in the Park 🎨🍂

Since 1964, Festival in the Park has been a beloved fall tradition in Charlotte. Held in Freedom Park, this festival features live music, local art, crafts, food vendors, and family fun - all set against the backdrop of peak fall color. A perfect way to spend an autumn weekend!

5️⃣ Hall Family Farm 🎃🍓

A true fall staple! Hall Family Farm is the place for pumpkin picking, hayrides, a corn maze, and fall treats like apple cider donuts. It’s a family-friendly outing that captures all the charm of autumn in the Carolinas.

📍 Hall Family Farm (Lancaster, SC - just outside Charlotte)

📉 Mortgage Rates Drop Across Most Loan Types

Good news for buyers this week: mortgage rates moved lower in nearly every category. The 30-year fixed saw the biggest drop, sliding 0.12% to 6.13%, while the 30-year jumbo also fell to 6.15%. FHA and VA loans both declined as well, now sitting just under 6%.

The 15-year fixed held steady at 5.71%, and the only slight increase came from the 7/6 SOFR ARM, which inched up 0.01%. Overall, these decreases bring more affordability back to the table, lowering monthly payments and giving buyers greater purchasing power.

Thinking about buying or refinancing? These rate drops could make a real difference in your monthly payment. Let’s talk through your options and create a plan that works for your goals.
