📉 Mortgage Rates Fall Across the Board - A Welcome Drop for Buyers

This week brings good news: mortgage rates moved lower in nearly every category. The 30-year fixed is down to 6.52%, while the 15-year fixed slipped to 5.90%. Jumbo loans saw the biggest drop, falling 0.05% to 6.50%.


Government-backed products like FHA and VA loans also eased slightly, making this a more affordable moment for many buyers. Even the 7/6 SOFR ARM dipped below 6%, landing at 5.97%.


With summer winding down, these rate improvements could give buyers renewed purchasing power and help sellers attract more interest.
