Mortgage News

š Mortgage Rates Hold Steady as December Begins
As we kick off December, mortgage rates remain remarkably stable with only minimal movement across loan products. The 30-year fixed dipped slightly to 6.30%, while the 15-year fixed also saw a small decline to 5.79%, keeping affordability steady for buyers entering the winter market.
The 30-year jumbo rate was unchanged this week, holding firm at 6.40%. Meanwhile, FHA and VA loans inched up just 0.01%, reflecting tiny market adjustments rather than any significant trend shift. The 7/6 SOFR ARM rose by 0.01% but still offers one of the lowest payment options for borrowers looking to maximize buying power.
Overall, the market remains calm and consistent - great news for buyers planning a move before the new year or homeowners weighing refinancing options.
